Who We Serve

The Achievement Centers for Children & Families is a nonprofit agency supporting low-income, working families and children in protective services. The families we serve are at the highest risk for perpetuating the cycle of poverty. Our approach is to create partnerships with families and work together as a team, where they have an active role in evoking change in their lives.

Our children and families are typically poverty-stricken minorities, in single-family households located in deteriorating neighborhoods. The community we serve includes:

● Low-income parents in work-training programs

● Low-income working parents

● Teenage parents in school full-time

● Children at-risk for abandonment, abuse or neglect as

referred by the courts
